- Application and Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase of goods specified in our quotation (“Goods”) by you, the buyer (also referred to as “customer”), from Onlinemart.lk, a registered company in Sri Lanka.
By accepting these Terms and Conditions, whether through your acceptance of the quotation or upon delivery of the goods, you acknowledge your agreement with the entirety of this contract. These Terms and Conditions, combined with the quotation, establish the complete agreement between you and us, excluding any conflicting terms.
- Interpretation
“Business day” refers to any day other than a Saturday, Sunday, Bank Holiday, or public holiday in Sri Lanka.
Headings in these Terms and Conditions are for convenience and will not impact interpretation.
Singular and plural forms of words are interchangeable.
“In writing” encompasses written communication like email, text messages (SMS/WhatsApp/Viber/Facebook Messenger).
“Special orders” denote orders tailored to your specific requirements.
- Goods
Images and product information are illustrative and informative, possibly differing from the actual product. We strive for accurate and up-to-date product details, but do not accept liability for inaccuracies. Consult packaging for precise information.
You must be aware that products and their ingredients are subject to change. For precise information, consult the manufacturer, whose contact details appear on the packaging. Links to third-party websites are provided for further product information, with no control or liability on our part.

- Price
The price of Goods is as per our current quotation at the time of your order, or any agreed-upon price in writing.
In case uncontrollable factors raise the Goods’ cost (e.g., material or labor costs, exchange rates), we can adjust the price before delivery.
You might be eligible for discretionary discounts.
The price includes packaging and delivery.
VAT, taxes, or levies imposed by competent authorities are included.
Imported products prices may differ from its country of origin. In Sri Lanka, prices will be higher due to administration, handling, shipping, and customs expenses.
- Cancellation and Alteration
Goods’ details are subject to alteration without notice and are not a contractual offer.
Either party can cancel the order prior to your acceptance of the order.
- Payments
To place an order, you must provide accurate and current information.
You agree to pay the total amount specified during the checkout process, including any applicable taxes and fees.
Payment methods accepted are listed on the Website.
We invoice you for the Price upon or before delivery or collection.
Non-payment can lead to suspension of deliveries.
- Delivery
We will make every effort to ensure prompt delivery of your order. Shipping times and costs are specified on the Website. Delays may occur due to factors beyond our control.
Goods are delivered to the address specified in the quotation or collected from our premises.
You must inspect goods on delivery or collection.
In case of damages or shortages, inform us immediately and provide written details within 24 hours of delivery.
Returned goods are accepted if defective, subject to inspection and agreement.
Risk passes upon completion of delivery.
Title remains with us until full payment is received.
If you fail to take delivery, we may store, redeliver, or resell the goods.
- Returns and Refunds
Eligibility for Returns and Refunds: We accept returns and process refunds for items that are damaged, defective, or not as described. Returns for reasons of personal preference or change of mind may be considered at our discretion.
Timeframe for Returns: You have up to 7 days from the date of purchase to initiate a return request. After this period, we may not be able to accept returns or process refunds.
Condition of the Product: Returned items must be in their original condition, unused, and with all original tags, packaging, and accessories intact. We reserve the right to reject returns that do not meet these criteria.
Return Process: To initiate a return, Please fill or Goods Return Form (GRF) or contact our customer service for the guide through the return process and provide you with further instructions.
Return Shipping: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong item shipped, damaged product). We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure the safe return of the item.
Refund Process: Refunds will be issued once we receive and inspect the returned item. Depending on your original payment method, refunds will be processed within 14 days. Please note that it might take additional time for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your financial institution.
Partial Refunds and Exchanges: In some cases, partial refunds may be offered if the item has been partially used or if there is minor damage. Exchanges for the same item or a different product may also be considered, subject to availability.
Non-Refundable Items: Certain items are non-refundable, including but not limited to clearance items, personalized or customized products, and digital downloads.
Customer Responsibilities: When returning an item, you are responsible for adequately packaging the item to prevent damage during transit. Please include a copy of your proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation, receipt) with the returned item.

Exceptions and Special Cases: Items purchased from third-party retailers or resellers must be returned according to their respective policies. Warranty claims for defective items are subject to our separate Warranty Policy.

- Inspection and Acceptance of Goods
Inspect goods on delivery or collection.
Report damages or shortages immediately to the driver and inform us in writing within 24 hours.
Returned goods may be repaired, replaced, or refunded if defective.
Liability for goods ends if notice requirements aren’t met.
- Risk and Title
Risk transfers upon delivery.
Title remains with us until full payment is received.
- Termination
We can terminate the sale for your material breach, insolvency, or other events.
Termination rights are reserved in specific situations.
- Limitations and Liability
Onlinemart.lk is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that result from the use or inability to use the Website or products purchased from the Website.
Our liability is limited as outlined.
Warranties, implied terms, or conditions are excluded as allowed by law.
If we don’t deliver, liability is limited to cost and expenses for replacement goods.
- Communication
All notices must be in writing.
Notices are deemed given when delivered, sent by fax/email, or mailed.
- Data Protection
We may process personal data as required for Goods provision.
Personal data shall be processed responsibly and not retained unnecessarily.
Personal data shall not be disclosed to third parties except as necessary.

- Intellectual Property

- Law and Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by Sri Lankan law, with disputes subject to Sri Lankan courts.
- Changes to This Agreement
We reserve the right to modify, update, or replace these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Website after changes constitute acceptance of the modified terms.
